RYN SCOTT is a music artist born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. He uses a variety of styles from rap/hip-hop to pop, folk, country rap, alternative rock and R&B to create a sound uniquely his own. RYN’s primary mission is to use his music to bring about hope, to inspire and spark a light in someone, to make a positive impact on his audience and remind his listeners that life is not so much about the destination but more about the present moment.

In 2018 RYN SCOTT teamed up with Detroit producer Jake Bass at Bassment Sounds and together they have released multiple singles including RYN’s debut album “Peaks & Valleys” (2022.) RYN opened up for Joyner Lucas on his “I’m Kind of A Big Deal” tour (2019) at The Magic Stick in Detroit, The Beacham in Orlando, and The House of Blues in Boston, as well as his most recent “ADHD” tour (2022) at the Shelter in Detroit. RYN has performed on many stages including Soaring Eagle’s Arts Beats & Eats Festival in Royal Oak, Detroit’s Harvest Fest & Food Truck Rally, The Taco Fest in Royal Oak, and the Glizzy Fest in Flint. He has been featured and performed on Detroit’s Channel 4 Live in the D (2025), CBS NEWS (2025), and comedian Dave Landau’s Normal World Podcast. RYN has collaborated with a number of renowned artists including former Aftermath artist Jon Connor, Locksmith, Sammy Adams, and former Detroit Lion, CBS & NFL Today talent, Nate Burleson. RYN most recently linked up with Grammy & Oscar Award winner Jeff Bass & his son Jake Bass on new song “Just Human”.
